The Worcester Railers took on the Reading Royals Saturday night at Santander Arena in a “winner takes all” game where the victor headed to the ECHL North Division playoffs and the loser went home, and for the fourth consecutive year with Worcester facing the “win and in” scenario the Railers didn’t win, dropping a 7-3 contest.
We’ll include the three goals they scored, just because that’s what we do here.
2. WOR – Rajaniemi 5 (Kaplan, DeMelis), 5:24.
3. WOR – Piercey 10 (Klee, DeMelis), 6:17.
3. WOR – Callin 24 (Kopperud, Kaplan), 15:25 (PP).
That’s it for the post, and that’s it for the season.
