One of the top four lost this week, so unlike last week we’ve got some movement in the rankings. Things are starting to get interesting.
As a reminder, these are just my picks. If you disagree on what I’ve got, feel free to make your argument in the comments. Heck, post your own rankings there if you wish.
#1 – Alabama (8-0) Last week: #1
After an off week in week 9 the Crimson Tide host LSU (6-2) in week ten. If Alabama avoids making many mistakes this should be another to add to the win column.
#2 – Georgia (8-0) Last week: #3
The Bulldogs really exposed the Florida Gators in week nine, blowing out their SEC rivals 42-7 in a game that wasn’t as close as the score indicates. Georgia hosts South Carolina (6-2) in week ten.
#3 – Clemson (7-1) Last week: #4
The Tigers had some issues with Georgia Tech but were still able to pull out a 24-10 victory. Clemson visits NC State (6-2) in week ten in what might be the toughest game remaining in their regular season.
#4 – Wisconsin (8-0) Last week: #5
The Badgers 24-10 win over Illinois coupled with Penn State’s loss launches Wisconsin into the top-4. Even so, they probably still need to win the Big Ten Championship game to make the College Football Playoff. The Badgers are at Indiana (2-5) in week ten.
#5 – Ohio State (7-1) Last week: #6
Once left for dead suddenly Ohio State is starting to get mentioned again as a possible inclusion in the College football playoff after the stunning 39-38 come from behind victory over #2 Penn State. The Buckeyes are at Iowa (5-3) in week ten.
