Former Worcester hockey players: where are they playing now? (2017-18 final edition)

With all the North America pro leagues now past their trade deadlines we’ll take a final look at where all the former Worcester pro hockey players landed this season. We’ve changed the format to straight alphabetical, so all the IceCats, WorSharks, and Railers are mixed together on the list.

Players are generally listed by their current teams. An asterisk after an ECHL team indicates the player spent some time in the AHL. Players who appeared in NHL games are just listed by the NHL team, and appear in bold. No leagues lower than the ECHL are listed, and former Railers players still in the Islanders/Sound Tigers system are not mentioned.

In addition, players that represented their countries in the 2018 Winter Olympics are listed in blue.

This list is accurate as of the morning of Saturday, March 10th.

  1. This is great; thanks for maintaining this list!
Now I know the Panthers aren’t really an NHL caliber team this season, but shouldn’t “Micheal Haley – Florida Panthers” be bolded and include (NHL) after the team name?
