The Worcester Railers headed to the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland, Maine to take on the Mariners in their first contest after the ECHL’s All-Star break and the Railers played like they were still on vacation as they were blown out of the building in an 8-1 loss.
Evan Buitenhuis took the loss allowing five goals on 12 shots before being lifted by Worcester Head Coach Dave Cunniff in favor of Ian Milosz. The rookie netminder didn’t fare much better, allowing three goals on ten shots in the final 33 minutes of the contest. Bo Brauer had the only goal for the Railers.
