The Wolf Pack had the first four goals of the game, with former ‘Cats forward Derek Armstrong scoring at 10:30 of the opeing period, Brad Smith tallying at 13:57 of the middle period, and Maxim Galanov (6:24) and Smith (8:31) scoring in the third. Worcester’s goal came at 13:38 of the third period on the power play, with Jamal Mayers finally beating Cloutier assisted by Michal Handzus and Lubos Bartecko. Brent Johnson had 25 saves in the loss.
