Just dropping a quick note here to mention that I’ve made an addition here on 210Sports. In the top menu, you’ll see a new section called “Worcester Hockey History”, and while it’s far from complete I decided to make public the portion that’s finished. Right now everything is live except for the “Stats” and “Records” sections, and hopefully in the next couple weeks those will be up and running too.
My original plan was to have all this information sortable on each page, but the web package I currently use doesn’t allow for that. I will eventually be moving 210Sports to a new host, but that appears unlikely to happen until the fall of 2021. So instead of sortable pages, I’m posting the information in most of the sections twice; once with the players sorted alphabetically and once by chronological order.
I’m still trying to work out the best way to display the stats, because while the way I tested it worked the font had to be small to get all the information on the page. It was OK on my PC, but not so great on my laptop and a real pain in the neck when using my phone. Since this is a mobile world being able to have people see it on their phones is a must, so I need to work on that before making those pages public.
This is one of those projects that will likely never be finished, so if you think I should add something or if you see an error, feel free to contact me and I’ll take a look at it.
